Christmas Photos 2014

Part of Trace's birthday pictures included an outfit change and some Christmas photos to send out to love ones and create our annual card. It's easy to create a Christmas card and want to send it out to everyone you know when you have such an handsome subject on the front!

The Santa coat/gloves are being worn by me. Maybe that's why he has such a huge grin on his face, Mom as Santa? That's crazy!

We did a really cool thing with these photos and created/ordered our own wrapping paper with these photos, words and decoration of our choosing on it. It was such a hit! The funny thing is no one wanted to rip open their gifts, they all tried to open the presents wrapped in this paper very careful, so as to not damage the paper.

5 year birthday photos

Because of the broken arm that Trace suffered, we postponed his birthday photos and didn't get them done until November this year. Nevertheless, still a super cute little fella!

We brought along all his Lego boxes and had him build a couple things just for the shoot. The photographer loved it! Perfect representation of his favorite activity this year!

This is my favorite! Look at the tilted ankle! So adorable! This shirt was a gift from Uncle Adam for his birthday. Trace feels so cool in this shirt, as he should. Good looking kid!

Love this collage! Look how good he writes his name!

Ankles crossed?! I'm dying! No one prompted him to do that! I love it!

Look at those eyelashes!

While writing his name, he couldn't remember what order the letters go in, so this is the look when he's looking to me to help him remember what letter comes next.

Park City

For several years now, Kevin's parents have enjoyed their anniversary in their Park City Marriott condo. Occasionally, they invite some of their children and families to join them for a couple nights. We got invited this time and jumped at the chance to head up to the snowy city for some R&R and time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Kevin bought a Lego for Trace and Grandpa to put together.

Kyli reading to the boys, so sweet!

Grandpa and Grandma walked up and down Main Street with us and we stopped for a bit of ice cream even though it was 45 degrees outside.

While we were staying there, the resort announced they'd be having a magic show and we decided to see what it was all about. We were the only audience members! We got our own private show! Since Trace was the only kid there, the magician did all the tricks with Trace! He absolutely loved it and I couldn't have laughed more! So fun to see his face light up with each trick! The magician even had live animals! An experience we won't soon forget!

The day after the magic show, some cousins came up to join us for some craft events. The kids were so excited to make a magic wand, especially Trace who kept telling his cousins all about the magic show and how his wand he was making would help him be a magician. The others were making "Harry Potter" wands, but Trace hasn't seen Harry Potter yet, so he was content with magician.

Awful Top Tower

One day Trace was playing with his Legos and he called for me to come in the room and see what he had built. "Wow!" I said when I saw it, I asked "what is that?" to which he replied: "It's the awful top tower!" I paused and said: "Do you mean the Eiffel Tower?" "Yeah, Mom, it's taller than me and the awful top tower!" I laughed and grabbed the camera. Cute little fella!
