Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving, Josh and his family came here from California and stayed at our house, so we decided that we'd have as many of the Carrell clan over for Thanksgiving dinner as we could possibly fit. A couple of the siblings had obligations with their in-laws, but we still had a good crowd! We ended up setting up 3 tables besides our dinner table with both leafs installed, made two huge turkeys and cooked and cooked until we could cook no more. All in all, we had about 32 people eating at the same time! Really has a way of making your house seem small and your heart feel full.

The tables looked gorgeous!

We chose this year to teach Trace about the wish bone tradition. He and Daddy each made a wish, pulled and....

Daddy got the larger part!

I don't think he knew how to react that he didn't "win".

Nevertheless, he was back to all smiles soon enough.

Scott and Julie

It seems to be becoming a tradition for me to take photos of Scott and Julie and their kids each year for family photos. We've had some fun over the years, here are a few of my favorites.
