This year, our buddy, Charlie the elf showed up again to watch Trace and report back his behavior to Santa Claus. Of course, when he comes, he always gets into a little mischief. This year, he made cookies, hid inside a plant and made it so we couldn't find him for most of the day. His greatest stunt of the year was when he strung a rope from the ceiling fan to the Christmas tree and got stuck going from one to the other. Silly Elf on a Shelf for sure! Trace loved waking to see what kind of things Charlie had gotten into during the night.

On Christmas Eve, we have a tradition to read the "Night before Christmas" story to Trace. This year was Daddy's turn and Trace loved it! I think he's starting to really get excited about Christmas and all the traditions that go along with it.

| We always let Trace open one gift on Christmas Eve. This year it was the figures from his favorite Christmas show; Disney's version of the Christmas Carol with Donald and Mickey. |

| Trace bought gifts for his Mom and Dad from his school Santa shop. He was so happy to give a present that he chose all by himself! |

Trace got some monster slippers from Santa and when he put them on, Raven started to try to bit them! She thought they were stuffed toys for her! It was funny watching Trace run away from Raven as she tried to bite his toes!

| We got a REALLY White Christmas this year! |
We went to Nana and Papa's house to celebrate with the rest of my family. We had a great meal together and everyone was in town this year, so we were able to visit for quite a while.

| Liam saw Trace handing out gifts, so he decided to try too! He would just pick up a gift as fast as he could and give them to anyone near him. Not many were the correct recipient, but it was super cute. |
