Just Keep Swimming

Trace continues to take swimming lessons one a week. He is getting really good and even knows the butterfly, backstroke, freestyle, all kinds of different strokes. His freestyle is his fastest and he can do his side breathing like a champion. His backstroke is super fast and perfect form, he's even getting better at not looking behind him to see when the wall is nearing so much. He's got another boy in his class that is named "Drew" and he does check the next lane while swimming to see if he's ahead or behind his classmate. The next step for him is to join the "competition" class so he can build up his endurance and prepare for competitions. He said he still likes doing it and tries really hard to listen and follow instructions when is teacher/coach gives them.

An Aunt and an Aquarium

For Christmas, Tamara bought Trace tickets to the Aquarium (not knowing that we already had annual passes) so that she could go with him. Since we already had passes, it made it so she was able to use the pass she bought for him and Trace and I used our annual passes to go together on a Saturday. Trace loved showing her around and telling her all about his favorite exhibits. She seemed to have a good time too, maybe we'll make this an annual thing.
