Natural History Museum

I had planned to take the day off work so that we could go to the zoo as a family, but it turned out to be a really rainy and cold day, so we decided to check out the Natural History Museum near the University of Utah. I hadn't been there in a long time and I know that Trace would like the dinosaur exhibits that they had on display. Turns out, there was all kinds of things to learn about and check out, we had a great time!

This was an exhibit that you could use to show the water patterns and how they erode away the earth. You could build up the sand and then turn on the water and watch it wash away.

This was a really cool exhibit! You build a "building" and then turn it on to see how it reacts to an earthquake. Then, after your building falls over, they have instructions how to build it more soundly and you can rebuild and try again!

We had to check out the creepy, crawly exhibits as well!
