and baby makes three vol.2: September 2017

Since we were so busy with Trace's birthday, school starting, his baptism and then my back surgery, we decided to have Trace's birthday party with friends a little after his actual birthday. We booked it for September 16, 2017 at Classic Skating Center. In case I haven't made it clear, Trace is a wonderful skater! Not sure if he just picked it up because his parents met while skating and have both loved skating their whole lives, but he has some serious natural ability going on! Anyway, this place has a large open rink like a "normal" skating rink, but it also has a track with obstacles to do tricks on! In addition to the skating, they have bounce houses, laser tag and a private room available for your party in which you can perform karaoke! He invited about 20 friends to the event and 17 friends showed up! The attendees were; Fischer James, Cam Carrell, Boston Carrell, Braden Chipman, Matthew Palmer, Wesley Nichols, Kaleb Kresser, Sophie Smart, Talon Smith, Burton Klc, Liam Welling, Taft Ashby, Zander Frisbee, Aidan Clark, Sebastian, Reid, and David. We also had Nate James, Grandma, Grandpa, Nana and Papa come to help out Kevin and I.
Since I was just out of the hospital, I was wheelchair bound, so I had my Mom take many of the photos including each of the gifts that his friends gave him. I love how Trace was so gracious with each of his friends and thankful for whatever they gave him. Such a good boy! Such a good friend! Part of the package with Classic was that he got to go inside a wind tunnel ticket booth and grab as many tickets as possible. He had a blast and got quite a few tickets! Then he got to spin the wheel and got a prize from the prize booth too. He had such a great time and I think his friends did too. He was truly exhausted when the day was over, that's the example of a great party I say.
