Thanksgiving

Since we had just spent time with Kevin's family in Park City, and Tamara would be heading to Atlanta for Christmas, we decided to spend Thanksgiving with my family. We invited everyone to our house and Kevin went all-out with the food, as usual. He smoked the turkey in his smoker, made all the traditional favorites and generally spent the whole day in the kitchen making the most delicious of messes. Trace grabbed the whole drumstick leg from the turkey and started to eat it. I thought about asking him to mind his manners and maybe CUT the piece down, but then I thought; "What the heck, let the kid each the enormous turkey leg, you're only a kid once." Thank heaven Trace and I are so lucky to have such a great chef for a Dad and husband and Thanksgiving is just another chance for us to enjoy and share his talents with others.
