Florida Vacation Day 6

On our last day in Disney World, we headed to Hollywood Studios. This place was all about Star Wars which equals happiness for our whole family. Trace got to visit with the newest bad-guy "Kylo  Ren", (who happens to be the grandson of Darth Vader) saw some cool storm troopers, Chewbacca and even watched a show all about stunts starring the real stunt man used for Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movie franchise.

We scheduled to have dinner at a spot and we figured out when we got there that it was a "character meal" which means lots of different characters come to the restaurant and visit with you while you eat. It is a great way to see lots of different characters all at once. The restaurant was called "Hollywood & Vine" and all the characters were dressed up in their finest.

So many Star Wars characters and props to see! Trace wanted me to take a hundred more photos, but my battery happened to be near dead, so we just enjoyed all the cool stuff and time together.

This is the REAL dress that Julie Andrews wore as Mary Poppins in the movie!

Once or twice throughout the day, you see the baddest of the bad characters walk menacingly around the plaza while they play the theme song for Darth Vader. Pretty intimidating and neat.

Yay for Chewy!

We got into a special "members only" event to see Kylo Ren, he was super cool!

The Indiana Jones stunt show showed how the boulder used in the movies was made from Styrofoam, and how to throw and take a punch without getting really hurt. Then, they performed a entire stunt sequence complete with a helicopter and fire!

We couldn't leave "Pixar Place" without a visit to Woody and Buzz! I remember when Trace was just a baby, he could watch any of the 3 Toy Story movies over and over and they'd always bring a smile to his face. I have to say, they are some of my most favorite Pixar movies ever too.
