Next day at Universal Studios we started off with a delicious brunch at a cute little local place that had an open air patio and delightful flatbread. I remember thinking that it was the most perfect of days. We all had gotten a good night sleep, it was about 68 degrees, sunny with at slight breeze and so calming and nice to be with my boys.
When we made it to Universal Studios, it seemed to be the day for character pictures. We ran into them everywhere! We went to the "Waterworld" stunt show and saw everyone from Shrek, King Julian, Po from Kung Fu Panda, Spiderman, a spooky vampire and several Minions. My favorite was when we ran into Beetlejuice and he said; "come here you little snot rocket", which made Trace laugh. After we got a picture of the two of them, Beetlejuice said; "I bet you're too young to even know who I am". To which Trace replied; "I've seen your movie, you're Beetlejuice!" Then Beetlejuice looked at us and said; "That right there is some good parenting". It made all of us laugh and me think that maybe I should re-think the shows I let Kevin and the boy watch while I'm at work.
