Paint Nite
Every now and then, Kevin and I like to take Trace to a painting class to express his creativity and have a little fun on a weeknight. Usually, we paint on canvas' that are 16" x 20", but the paint company we usually go with, decided to try something new and do some "mini" paintings that can be hung on your fridge. Since Trace is still a bit of a "small fry" we thought this may be a fun thing to try. We ended up with more paint on ourselves, which was a surprise, but you have to hold the smaller frames and the larger ones you can just leave on the easel. The instructor shows the "how-to" through a video zoomed way in so you can see what she's doing close up and she was also there live to help us if we got stuck. It was a new experience and I'm not sure we liked it better than the big ones, but they certainly take up less room!
