Shop till you drop

We have a large sporting goods store in town called "Scheels" and they have a hole bunch of "photo opportunities" around the store. We blocked out a large chunk of time so we could visit each section. We even played on the indoor mini bowling alley! We went there to find Trace a new bike since we promised that he could get one when he finished his computer program. He's outgrown his old one, so we needed one that was a bit bigger, but not an adult one. We found a couple of possibilities and when we showed him the two he could choose from, he looked at the sales price of each and decided on the cheaper one, because the expensive one wasn't "that much nicer". I thought it was so sweet! What kind of 9 year old checks the price of the bike and chooses the cheaper one to make his parents happy? Just another exhibit of Trace being Trace and having a great time, even when forced to do things like shop with his parents.

They have a giant fish tank in the front of the store

Pull the weights! Pull!
