Bachelorette Party

Earlier this year, Tamara and Adam, who have been together for about 8 years now, got engaged and set a wedding date for Labor Day weekend. Tamara asked me to be her Maid of Honor and I've had a great time planning for the big day. She mentioned that she wanted to try something called "Paint Nite" for her bachelorette party. It is a group of artists that offer a paint class with one instructor at a local restaurant or bar and help you create the same picture. We set it up for a Saturday afternoon and Tamara invited her childhood friends, Jennifer, Jill, Marty and Brianna. She also invited Mom, Rob's wife, Ivanna and me. I was a little apprehensive about the experience, but we ended up having so much fun! The painting that we were all doing included the little Buddha looking at the moon. I just left mine out since I couldn't get it right. I just made it the trunk of the tree instead, but Tamara actually turned hers into Brinkley her miniature schnauzer! So cute! Anyway, the night turned out great and hopefully one for Tamara to always remember.
This is the painting done by the art teacher we were working on that night.

Final photo with everyone. Crazy how the same painting turned out so different for everyone!
