Northwest Halloween Open House
Since we are allowed by the insurance department to have an open house each year, we decided that our office would have a Halloween-themed one this year. We went all out! We took pictures of each of us as employees and distorted them so that we looked like zombies, framed them and put them on the wall. We had soup in cauldrons, punch with dry ice, donuts with vampire teeth in them, all kinds of scary stuff! We had pumpkins with cool carvings, including one with our company logo! I created a slide show set to scary music that played on the big screen and through the speakers, we had tons of spiderwebs, witches and other creepy decor. We also turned one alcove of our office into a haunted mansion photo booth. We took photos of our clients, attendees and ourselves. We all dressed up in costumes and I loved what everyone came up with! Casey was a "social butterfly", Mcinsy was an 80's girl, Claire was a witch, Diane was "Raggedy Di-Ann", Tattianna was Waldo, Darla was a cowgirl, Megan was a crazy cat lady, Mike was a cowboy, Jeff was a masked man with a machete, Angie was a pink lady, Andy was a member of the paparazzi, (he took most of the photos), Liz was an inflatable dinosaur (she couldn't wear the costume the whole time, so she brought tiny hands) and I was the Queen of Hearts. Such a hodgepodge of costumes, but it was awesome and gave everyone something fun to talk about. We had such a great time and we think our clients did too, we plan to do the same thing again year after year. Hooray for Halloween!
