Paint Nite

As part of the gift that we gave to my Mom for Mother's Day we agreed to take her to an evening event in which you follow an instructor and their directions to paint a particular painting while eating dinner at our favorite ice cream shop, Leatherby's. Kevin and I had done it before, but never with my Mom. We decided to have dinner while we painted and then follow up with ice cream afterward. The painting that night was of the famous Southern Utah rock formation called the "arches". I've never seen it in real life, but the image is so common it is on our state license plates. I think we all did really well, but it was mostly just fun to get creative, laugh and enjoy the fun together. Happy belated Mother's Day Mom!
