No Boost Needed!

Probably the most monumental thing that happened on July 4th was the fact that we happened to measure Trace the morning before we left and discovered that SOMEONE was tall enough and weighted enough to go without a booster seat! Wahoo! He was so excited and sat really still the whole way out to Kevin's parents. It was really cute! We talked about how important it is for the neck strap to fall in the correct position on his shoulder and not across his neck, so he sat up really tall for the entire ride. He announced that he was now big enough to go without a booster to everyone who would listen and I just remarked about how I can't believe he's such a big boy! He made it all the way through all the car seats, booster and lift seats and wasn't in a single car accident. Not even a fender bender! Phew! Something to be grateful for indeed.
